Call for Papers

“Pakistan” is a Bi-Annual research journal recognized by HEC in the category “Y”. It is an open-access peer-reviewed journal being published by Pakistan Study Center, University of Peshawar. The main mission of the journal is to publish articles on a variety of topics specifically related to Pakistan. It provides a forum for researchers to publish their work in a widely read journal. The journal publishes only original work, which can really add to the body of knowledge and can provide material to policymakers.

 The Journal accepts articles from authors/contributors on topics related to Pakistan’s History (Ancient, medieval, modern), Politics, Current affairs, Foreign policy, Culture, Economics, and Languages. Authors are cordially invited to submit their articles as per the following schedule:

 January-June issue:

Paper Submission Deadline: 1st January – March 30

July-December issue:

 Paper Submission Deadline: 1st July – September 30

Articles submitted after this date will not be considered. A hard copy of the article is not accepted. Authors should submit original and new articles. Any paper submitted or published in any other journal, National or international will not be accepted. In case of concealing any fact, the author him/herself will be responsible for all types of consequences, legal, academic, or otherwise. Authors are further advised that a maximum of two authors can share an article, one as principal and the other as co-author. The length of the article should be between 4000 to 5000 words. Abstract and keywords must be added at the beginning of the manuscript. The abstract must be clear enough to convey the central theme of the paper. Articles written in English and Urdu languages are accepted. The authors are strictly advised to follow APA format of citation.
